THE GHOST OF WILLIAM MORGAN 5K

Join us for the Inaugural Ghost of William Morgan 5K Run/Walk through the historic streets of Lewiston, New York!

This unique fall 5K benefits the Historical Association of Lewiston & The Lewiston Museum, supporting the preservation of our community's history and the educational programs they provide free to the public.

COME DRESSED FOR THE OCCASION!

This isn't your ordinary 5K! Runners and walkers are encouraged to embrace Lewiston's haunted history and dress as a ghost or an early-1800s colonial ghost. Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Whether you're running for a personal best or haunting your way through all 3.1 miles, come have some fun with us!

START/FINISH
Marilyn Toohey Park: The race will feature a gun start and the finish line is at Marilyn Toohey Park. There will be a water station located at the midpoint of the 5K course and bottled water and light food/snacks will be provided at the finish line after the race. The 5K course is USATF Certified!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race or until sold out. The 5K Run will start at 9:00am.

5K Registration
$30 through race day

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at Marilyn Toohey Park from 8am until the start of the race at 9:00am.

Awards will be presented to the top male and female 5K runners and will be presented at the awards ceremony after the race. Participants can also download custom finisher certificates from the event page and view/share finish line photos following the race!

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking available in the Village of Lewiston.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, shelter-in-place, limit on social gatherings, etc) we want runners to know up front that we reserve the right to reschedule the event date if needed OR convert this to a virtual event. There will be no refunds.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
